Solar Solutions of Kansas City is one of the newest of Solatube International's nationwide network of over 100 'Premiere Dealers'. We officially opened January 2007.
To be a Premiere Dealer, we must adhere to a rigorous set of standards, including inventory levels, a complete showroom with fully-operating Solatube® Tubular Daylighting Systems (what USED TO be called 'tubular skylights'), participation in ongoing training and education, etc.
Solar Solutions stocks, sells and installs exclusively the Solatube line of products, including the SolarStar® Solar-powered Attic Ventilation Fan. Your comfort and efficiency are our bread-and-butter.
We have a beautiful (if we say so ourselves) 2200 square ft. space, and because of the beautiful natural light provided by 11 operating Solatubes, we don't have any lights on in any of our offices, our showroom, or our 700 sf warehouse--except at night, of course. As I type this, it's a rainy overcast day here in KC, and except for an occasional need for a 'task light', there are still no lights on. Amazing.
We consider it a privilege (and a lot of fun!) to provide one of the best answers to the ongoing question about energy savings and sustainability.
